All children in 5th Grade in the Smithfield Public Schools participate in the Band Program during school music time. The instruments that children may play during class are flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone,and bell kit. Children learn to read music, practice playing together as a band, and prepare to perform for family and friends at the end of the school year!
